New Tribes: Ascend Update Brings New Weapons and Maps

Hi-Rez Studios, the developers behind the free-to-play PC game Tribes Ascend, today announced a new update coming to Tribes: Ascend later this week.

The update coming this week, titled Accelerate will bring an increase in the speed in which players will unlock weapon upgrades and earn items. Hi-Rez Studios has also revealed that the update will also bring twenty-seven brand new weapon variants, two new Capture and Hold maps and will also significantly balance gameplay.
