PlayStation Network Goes Down Unexpectedly

Written by Josiah Renaudin

Though no scheduled maintenance has been noted by Sony, PSN is currently offline. Youtube and Netflix are said to be working as usual, but online gaming is currently unavailable.

Some users have stated that they’re unable sign into the Network, explaining that the error 8071053D is causing the issue. Greg Miller of IGN fame seems to be on the case, though.

We here at StickSkills will let you know more about this unexplained outage as details arise.

It seems like Sony’s on the cast, too.

A few of the users in the comments below, as well as some Tweets on my stream have pointed out that the service is back online. I’m contacting Sony now for a confirmation that the Network is back up worldwide.

And there we have it.

Thank you to everyone in the comments for keeping me updated. Now, go enjoy PSN!
