First In-Game Black Ops 2 Screenshots Emerge

In case you happened to forget, there’s a little game being revealed during the NBA Playoffs tonight.  Oh, you’re not sure what game it is? Let us help you out: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

The Call of Duty website was updated this morning issuing a statement that confirmed the existence of Black Ops 2.  “Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare”.

Along with the game finally being confirmed, the first in-game screenshots have also leaked out.  The image shows a character, who looks very similar to the ODST soldiers in Halo, along with a few quadrotors.  Continue viewing below for the first in-game screenshots of Black Ops 2.

As we had previously reported, Black Ops 2 is scheduled for a November 13th release and will be available for pre-order late tonight.  In a previous article, a rumor broke about the supposed multiplayer details for Black Ops 2.  While those are yet to be confirmed, they do seem rather likely.
