Attention Call of Duty fans, Tuesday will hold some rather important information for you. After quite a bit of Black Ops 2 information leaked today, Activision and Treyarch are prepared to make an announcement regarding the next Call of Duty title this week.
The official Call of Duty website updated itself tonight stating that a “world reveal” would go live on May 1st during the NBA playoffs on TNT. By clicking on the “classified” section on the left, you’ll be confronted with quite a few screens that say “classified”. By clicking around on the screen, you’ll find one that has a reveal date of “April 24th”. That’s right, you’ll only have to wait until Tuesday for your first information on the supposed title “Black Ops 2”.
Information and hints are scattered around the website, but the majority of the screens don’t actually hold a date to them. It’ll be interesting to see what’s revealed, but it’s nice to see Activision stick to their usual plan of revealing the game during the NBA playoffs.
What do you hope to see out of the next Call of Duty title? Do you believe the game will be Black Ops 2, or go by a different name? Be sure to let us know what you think by leaving us a comment below, or discuss Call of Duty in our forums.
