In the world of video games, concept artists typically do not tend to be the most popular on the development staff. While they may often go unnoticed, their work is directly responsible for the words that we immerse ourselves in.
Adam Adamowicz worked on quite a few Bethesda titles, most notably Skyrim and Fallout 3, bringing some of the most impressive worlds we’ve seen to date to our systems. In a rather quiet announcement, Pete Hines revealed that Adam had passed away after his battle with cancer.
A rather touching piece has been put together on Awesome Robo by a fellow concept artist. Within the blog entry you’ll find numerous pieces of Adam’s original concept art, and a video featuring him talking about his work. While Adam was an unknown to just about all of the gaming world, his work will resignate with anyone who has played a title he has worked on.
