Latest Modern Warfare 3 Trailer Features Sam Worthington, Jonah Hill, and Dwight Howard

Last year, Call of Duty: Black Ops recieved a live-action trailer featuring Kobe Bryant and Jimmy Kimmel, along with the tagline, “There’s a soldier in all of us.” The trailer became an instant hit, so naturally, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has upped the ante with an even more explosive star-studded short.

In the video below entitled “The Vet & The n00b,” Avatar’s Sam Worthington – no stranger to kicking ass – takes “the n00b,” Superbad’s Jonah Hill under his wing through the transcontinental locales of Modern Warfare 3′s campaign. Worthington is the hardened Call of Duty veteran who puts down enemies with ease, while Hill can’t even get past the first landmine. Soon enough though, “the noob” figures things out like a natural pro. That’s when Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard noob-tubes his way into the action for the two to laugh at.

It’s also worth noting that when Kobe appeared in the Black Ops commercial last year, a brief controversy erupted as to whether or not one of the most popular players in the NBA should be seen shooting an assault rifle. It will be interesting to see if the same attention is given to Dwight Howard.

How do you like the new live-action Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 trailer? Will you be buying the game when it comes out on November 8 for the Xbox 360, PC, and Playstation 3? Be sure to sound off in the comments or the forums!
